Past performance includes:

• Worked on node room expansion project where new Telco ONS gear, and new core switches were installed, configured, and merged with the existing JPMC core network.  Includes racking of all the network gear, mapping the fiber (single mode/multimode) paths, and patching the cables to make a smooth merger into existing core networks.
• Worked on setting up disaster recovery site for JPMC B-Das system. This included installing all the HP servers, HP 12,000 tape library, all the associated network switches and LPAR systems, and regular maintenance.
• Participated in Global Network upgrade.  New blades were added to the Cisco devices, IOS was upgraded, new interconnects were run and all the checks and verifies were run before bringing back online into the core network environment.  The change lasted over 48hrs and was successfully completed without any major outages.
• Participated in Global SAN refresh, where the older Brocade switches were upgraded to newer ones. The change was coordinated with all the LOBs across the corporation.  The new SAN switches were installed, cabled and reconfigured to attach to the existing hosts. The configurations were checked and verified. Over 30 SAN switches were installed and cabled over a period of 48 hours.
• Participated in disaster recovery power drill where the power was turned off at the feed and the UPS & Generators kicked in to supply the power required to the building. Checked on all the DC equipment to verify there was power and report any failures of the system.  Diagnosed and involved in root cause analysis and implementation of future planning.
